Lambeth Walk: Nazi Style (1942)
Some WWII trolling thanks to Charles A. Ridley of the British Ministry of Information in 1942. I’m sure the Lambeth walk was their version of gangnam style and loses some significance for later generations. Still, it’s an inspired bit of editing and mockery.
Why include this? Well, it gets some referencing in other films (e.g. Five Graves to Cairo) and the original film used for remixing was Riefenstahl’s Triumph of the Will. And it’s short. And makes fun of Nazis.
