Windtalkers by Max Allan Collins
For whatever reason I always find myself watching Nicolas Cage movies only to come away thinking he’s ruined another great movie.
Then I read a novelization of a Nicolas Cage movie and to my horror discovered it was quite worse than if I’d just watched the movie.
I picked it up to learn a little something about the use of Navajo in WWII codes/ciphers/sigint. Little is what I learned. His bibliogrpahy may be the most useful part of the book at least for what I’m interested in.
If you have any interest in WWII or cryptology don’t read this book.
If you like Nicolas Cage movies then please by all means, go out and buy the book, just don’t read it.
This book is the opposite of helping solve Kryptos.
