This is a result of Sanborn’s revelation of “Berlin” as the deciphered plaintext of NYPVTT in Kryptos’ K4. Where possible, I will cite or repost methods for using known plaintext to attempt a solution of some of the classic ciphers. Monosyllabic substitution ciphers will not be attempted because T could not simultaneously be I and N in such a cipher.
