Cryptanalysis Contest
This is an analysis challenge of ciphering systems related to the Castor cipher.
Prize:
$5 for the right answer, $10 for the answer plus how a method of breaking this type of cipher
Objective:
Potentially ludicrously simple, solve the “pencil-and-paper” cipher below. This is no obscure combination cipher or batshit insane one either, it’s a just a special type of substitution cipher. The idea is to come up with a way to break it so we can then try that method out on K4. Really, just follow the link and read a little more and you’ll have quite a bit more information about this humble cipher than we have about K4.
